I have been photographing love stories since 2012 and it has been my full time job since 2016 and I still love it! I did used to run around town taking pictures of anything and everything with a film SLR camera when I was in high school, so I guess becoming a photographer was always in my destiny.

I am based in Canberra and most of my work is in the ACT or surrounding Snowy Mountains, Southern Highlands & Riverina regions.

I love the places photography takes me and I find so much inspiration in new towns and locations. I have been lucky enough to photograph weddings and couples in Sydney, Melbourne, Tasmania, Townsville, Darwin, Adelaide, Singapore, New Zealand, Santorini, London, and Las Vegas just to name a few. I assess travel costs on an individual basis but they are usually a one-off fee that will include accommodation and flights if necessary. Not at all. Almost everyone feels awkward in front of the camera, and it’s my goal to make the experience as fun and stress free as possible. My method is very relaxed and I will guide you through the process with some minimal directions. During an intimate couples session I focus on capturing your relationship and the interplay of your personalities. At an adventure session I try to keep out of the way and let you enjoy your day with your partner or family with as little interruption as possible. All you have to do is have a great time and forget that I am even there. I’m just along for the ride.

Adventure sessions are exactly that…an adventure, and they can be anything you like. Adventure sessions focus more on making memories rather than just taking photos. It takes the pressure off “being photographed” and is more documentary and about the experience, telling the story of a day in your life, by doing something new and exciting or something you already really love. You can choose to plan an elaborate romantic picnic on the beach, take a hike in the mountains together, spend the day searching for records in vintage shops or cafe hopping in the city. Love playing paintball? Are you rock climbing enthusiasts? Do you ski or snowboard? I would love to tag along and capture a day full of adventure and fun for you. Making not only beautiful photos, but real memories. The same goes for family adventure sessions. A day in your life as a family will hold so much more meaning. Does your family love playing cricket at the local park together? Would you love to hire a boat and explore the lake? Or do you simply love building forts in the backyard or having a water fight while washing the car. I love capturing all the crazy fun, the chaos and laughter that family brings. Basically, anything is possible with an adventure session. The options are endless.

You can expect to receive the entire online gallery of images roughly 6 weeks after your portrait session, sometimes earlier, depending on the time of year. I always send out a small “teasers” gallery for you a few days following your session though, so you will have some great shots to share on social media and celebrate with straight away!

You will receive a beautiful, password protected, online gallery hosting all of your images from your session. You are free to share the gallery with all your family & friends and you have complete control over who gets access and what they see. There are no water marks on any of the images and the high resolution files are available for download at any time. My online galleries also include a great feature that allows you direct access to my professional print lab. This way you can easily access the best quality prints and products all from right inside the gallery.

Absolutely. You have full rights over the images and can download and print them as much as you please.

I don't set a limit on the number of images that you will receive. It really depends on a number of factors including the type of session you choose. I concentrate on quality over quantity, but as a rough guide a 1 hour couples session would typically receive around 100 images and adventure sessions can receive up to 400 images depending on the activity and the number of people involved.
