I loved Sam & Andrew's wedding for so many reasons. Their beautiful ceremony and reception was held on an amazing property just outside of Canberra called Ginninderry Homestead. The homestead is surrounded by countryside where wild deer and goats run free. Sam & Andrew chose to spend the night before their wedding at the homestead with some close friends. They named it "paperwork day" as they actually got all the legal paperwork for their marriage completed the day before so they could really relax and enjoy their wedding. Everything about their wedding was completely true to who they are and I love that they got ready together, sneakily watched all their guests arrive from an upstairs window and walked down the aisle together, hand in hand. I'm so thankful to have been able to be a part of such an intimate and personal wedding.
At the beginning of spring last year, I had the pleasure of travelling to the forrest town of Tumbarumba to team up with my amazingly talented friend and namesake Lauren and shoot one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever seen! Justin & Laura got married smack bang in the middle of the Bago State Forest, surrounded by the tallest of sugar pines and of course all their family and friends. This beautiful ceremony almost took place elsewhere due to the teaming rain that had been hammering the area all morning. But as luck would have it the rain started to ease back a little just as the guests were arriving and the call was made to risk it and stick to the plan. I have to say I am so glad they did because even though the rain eventually came pouring down all over us, the misty forrest setting was magical to say the least! I even heard one guest describe it as "Totally Kinfolk!" - I totally agree! Here are my images from the day.

Mel & Sean
Late last year I proudly represented the ACT in the fabulous Hello May "Win Your Wedding Photographer" competition. I am thrilled to share the beautiful wedding of my winners Mel & Sean. From the moment I read their entry I knew I had to choose them and I am so happy that I have gotten to know them. Their day was so genuine and so true to who they are as a couple with so many personal touches. They chose the Margaret Whitlam Pavilion at the National Arboretum for their ceremony, and the Yarralumla Woolshed for their reception. Everything was so relaxed and filled with fun; exactly how a wedding should be!
This wedding is also being featured over on Hello May.
Jaye & Tom are two of the most warm and caring people, who show so much love for their family and friends. All day, the same sentiment was repeated.... "They would do anything for anyone!" They were adored by everyone in the room!
I couldn't resist heading to the local fish cafe Scotties to take some special snaps of them in the place where they met.
Jaye & Tom's wedding is being featured in the current issue of White Magazine. You can view the feature here and their whole wedding here.

Natalie & Adam
Natalie & Adam are two of the most kind hearted people I know. Having the honour of capturing their beautiful wedding day is something I will always feel so lucky for. I've had the opportunity of shooting with them both before (click here & here if you are keen to take a look back) and I knew their wedding was going to be something so special! Adam proposed to Natalie on the sands of Moruya beach so it was only fitting that their reception was held at the Moruya Surf Life Saving Club...not that you will recognise it as a surf club though thanks to the amazing talents of stylists Folklore & Co. But the best part of this truly beautiful day was the genuine warmth and love that surrounded them. I can't say enough how much I loved this day!!! x
